Yes. CLIF SHOT Electrolyte Replacement Drink is certified kosher by Orthodox Union (OU).

Are there any synthetic flavors in CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink?

No.

Why aren’t there any vitamins in CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix?

The primary purpose of CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix is to deliver what an athlete needs after his/her training and racing: high-quality whey and milk protein (casein) to help rebuild muscle, organic glucose to help restore muscle glycogen and sodium to replenish what is lost during activity.

While vitamins such as A, C, and E are critical to daily well-being, studies continually show that there is no performance benefit to athletes consuming these vitamins as supplements if they are eating a balanced diet.

Can I adjust the concentration of CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix away from the recommendation on the package?

We crafted our recovery drink to taste delicious and rewarding when mixed with 8 oz water. However, if you prefer a richer drink then use less water. If you prefer something a little thinner then use a little more water.

Why Does CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix contain 10 grams of protein?

A serving of CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix contains 10 grams of high-quality whey and casein (reference #5) to help rebuild muscle, organic glucose to help restore muscle glycogen and sodium to help replenish what is lost during activity.

CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix acts as a bridge until your post-workout meal because liquid protein provides faster absorption than solid protein sources (reference #6).

CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery after a workout can serve two purposes. It helps to restore muscle glycogen, and also helps rebuild muscle broken down during activity (reference #7).

How is CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix different from other sports drinks on the market?

CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix is made with 70% organic ingredients and is formulated with streamlined ingredients to help the body recover immediately after activity and prepare for tomorrow’s workout.

CLIF SHOT Protein Recovery Drink Mix includes milk proteins, whey and casein. Whey is a fast-absorbing protein that has been shown to help maximize the body’s muscle-building potential when consumed immediately after activity, while casein is digested more slowly and can help prevent muscle breakdown (reference #4).
