"Live Light. Spread Light"
Kimmy Fasani is one of the hardest charging snowboarders out there. She started snowboarding at the age of nine and never looked back. After graduating early from high school, Kimmy balanced her athletic career with an academic one, earning a B.S. in Marketing while sending waves through the snowboarding world. She has continuously raised the ceiling on what’s possible within the sport of snowboarding. Kimmy was featured in a segment of Absinthe Films' AfterForever, where she was the only women in the film and the first in four years to be featured. This segment was one of the many aspects of her wildly successful career, which led to her winning the 2016 Transworld Snowboarding Rider of the Year award. At the height of her career, she welcomed a baby boy, Koa, in March 2018 with husband Chris Benchetler, and is again stretching what's possible for women balancing a family in action sports.
Favorite Adventure Buddy:
I love adventuring with my husband, pro skier, and CLIF Athlete, Chris Benchetler. He's so passionate about spending time outdoors and together we make a great team while taking on all that nature has to offer. Chris has a way of pushing me more than I would push myself and that feeling of growth and progression keeps everyday in the mountains exciting and rewarding.
